In 2011, I received a call from a friend that worked at the Starbucks Headquarters in Washington. He loves my work. It made him think that I should try my hand at collaging with Starbucks’ castaways. He would present it to head Arthur Ruebenfeld. I did a group of collage on card vases as examples of what could be possible. His response was that my work was not a good fit. That was it.
